Projects
JPM Rotary Club of Cuttack Eye Hospital and Research Institute in collaboration with Sightsavers International has undertaken number of projects into hand and serving to the community at a large by assuring quality eye care services. Some of these projects are:
Vidyajyoti: JPM Rotary Club of Cuttack Eye Hospital & Research Institute in partnership with Sightsavers, an international development organization working in the field of blindness control in India has undertaken Cuttack as demonstration district in the state of Odisha for its National School Eye Health Programme called ‘Vidyajyoti’ with scale up across the state.
Urban Eye Health Project: In collaboration with Sightsavers, JPM Rotary Club of Cuttack Eye Hospital launched Urban Eye Health Project w.e.f 1st of August 2015. Under this project we have operated 3580 patients. 1049 patients with Refractive Errors have been operated and 107 patients have availed of spectacles, 879 patients have received free surgeries and Diabetic Retinopathy Screening of 395 patients has been done by the institute.
Eye care for all: JPM in Collaboration with Sightsavers & District Administration, Khurdha has launched a campaign called Eye care for all from 15th November 2015. The aim of this project is to give emphasis on comprehensive eye care health system in Khurdha district of Odisha.
Netra Vasant Project: A MoU has been signed with Sightsavers for conducting 700 nos. of Cataract Surgeries under National Rural Eye Health Programme (Netra Vasant) at Jamatra and Pakur District of Jharkhand State.
