Outreach Surgery
JPM Rotary Eye Hospital is also conducting outreach surgical camps at remote places with poor transport facilities and places where patients are unable to come to hospital. Surgical camps are being conducted in Jharkhand, Bihar and Arunachal Pradesh also.
The most satisfying development in more than two decades of service to the community was felt during the past few years. The Hospital managing committee has conducted numbers of outreach surgical camps and availed of the government fixed facility infrastructure at Kalahandi, Koraput, Keonjhar, Puri, Balasore districts in Odisha and Sahibganj, Garwha, Bhawnathpur, Jamtara and Rehela in the state of Jharkhand. This has become a regular activity for conducting outreach surgical camps.
JPM Rotary Club of Cuttack Eye Hospital & RI along with Lions Club Garhwa conducted a Mega Cataract surgery camp from 15th November to 21st November 2022 at Sadar Hospital Garhwa, Jharkhand. 628 patients were operated and IOL were implanted free of cost.
The medical team of JPM comprises of Dr. Smruti Ranjan Dethi & Dr. Shweta Dhiman along with 15 members of the hospital. The camp was a mega success.
