





JPM ROTARY CLUB OF CUTTACK EYE HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE
JPM Rotary Club of Cuttack Eye Hospital and Research Institute is a state of the art eye institute based in Cuttack, Odisha, which provides comprehensive eye care services. The hospital was built in collaboration with Sight Savers International (SSI), formerly known as Royal Commonwealth Society for the Blind, UK. They provided the much required technical know-how and helped in training the personnel. It is the 1st Multispecialty Eye Hospital of Odisha established in the year 1992. JPM is a premier institute in the field of eye health care and works towards eliminating preventable blindness. The institute strives to make basic eye care accessible for all. It is the 1st Post Graduate Institute in Ophthalmology recognised by DNB.
The 5th Midterm Conference of Odisha State Ophthalmological Society was conducted at JPM Rotary Eye Hospital, Cuttack. Over 200 Ophthalmologist from across the state and country participated in this two day event on 18th and 19th of July 2026, where exchange of Knowledge and acquisition of new technologies eye care took place. Padmashree Prof Dr. S. Natarajan from Mumbai joined as the chief Guest for inaugural ceremony and Rtn. PP. Bijoy Dasmohapatra joined as Guest of Honour.
General Secretary OSOS, Dr. Santosh Mahapatra, and Organizing Secretary MID TERM OSOCON 2026, Dr. Shweta Dhiman welcomed all the guests. The Conference provided a good platform for academic exchange, sharing of clinical experiences. The two day program included Scientific sessions, Interactive sessions and engaging academic activities.
